I’m not a conservative but I’ve heard from from a few and here is mainly why. Bc traditional conservatives housewives are boring. Conservative women tend to be reserved and basic while liberal women are more diverse and free. It’s also just a traditional mindset where men are supposed to be conservative and not women

Because there are more conservative men than conservative women, so there is simply not enough to go around. Personally I would prefer a lifetime of celibacy to a relationship with someone who despised my ideological views (minor disagreement is expected, i'm just talking about genuine hatred).

They go after both because men’s options on dating apps are severely limited to begin with so they compromise. You also have the men who swipe on every girl to save time and maximize their chances of getting a match and then filter out who they like vs don’t like later on when they see what their options are
