Um i think you probably are not in a good mental position to approach strangers. But acquaintances you want to get to know more i think can work

I think its all about expectations. If you approach people with very low expectations of the outcome, everything becomes a learning experience

Well ofc attractiveness is subjective but tbh don’t expect instant results. If that’s too much to ask, just work on yourself and come back to it later

Make friends first. If you approach with the goal of making friends, you win either way. If anything, dudes are the ones who usually try to make lovers out of their friends, so your chances increase after you get to know the guy too.

sadly it really does depend on how “not very attractive” you are which is obviously impossible for us to tell but you could try with guys you think are similarly attractive to you
