you’re most likely just confused about what they intended when offering to talk. They probably meant like one conversation, not continuing to discuss after multiple days or anything

The last time I tried to help a guy with this, he professed his love after two weeks, sent me covers of love songs even though I was very happily taken, and then suicide baited me into being his friend for four more months. I ghosted him for my own safety. The time before that, the same thing happened but with my childhood friend. You need to self assess now
