I just heard someone talk about men's rights?? Now, tell me what do we possibly have that they aren't already intitled to first?

In both criminal and family courts we’re at severe disadvantages, we’re subject to being drafted, and its not uncommon for male victims of domestic violence to be arrested instead of their abuser

The ability to relinquish all rights and responsibilities to a child, and the draft. Also it's worth noting that the education gap has swung WAY in the other direction at this point

We get out genitals mutilated at birth because we don’t have the same rights to genital autonomy that protects women from circumcision

Even abuse hotlines were found to have failed to provide adequate support to male victims even going so far as to refer them to programs for abuser. Some even laughed.

And before you jump on me with 99 reasons why male circumcision is practiced; the point is that it was outlawed for women 30 years ago because NON CONSENT surgery on someone else’s genitals is wrong. Period!

Infections? Antibiotics. Hygiene? Running water and soap. HIV? Wear condoms. Tradition? We need equal protection under the law. The norm? Actually the vast majority of the earth does not circumcise.

Ya but as a baby u don’t have a say in the matter. Plus even if parents wanted to mutilate their daughter’s genitals they aren’t allowed to, no such protections against circumcision.

“In America we don’t have a choice…” Actually in most U.S. States, you do still have that choice. And even the states where you generally don’t, every single state that has generally outlawed abortion has also written in exceptions that say you can get one if it’s life threatening.

False. Did you not hear what was said? You can get an abortion if it is medically necessary. It is not to be used as casual birth control.

Aqua can we quit derailing this discussion or do I gotta get the mods here to ban you again?

The Adriana Smith case was not life-threatening pregnancy and an abortion would not have saved her life. She was an expecting mother with no plans for an abortion, who suffered a stroke. So the hospital kept her body on life support long enough for the fetus to survive outside of the womb, then performed an emergency C-section as soon as it was viable to do so.

Also, according to the Republican attorney general of the state, there’s nothing about the state law that would prohibit her from being taken off of life support, that was entirely a mistake of the hospital misinterpreting the law.

Yes it has health issues, it was born very prematurely. Because they removed it as early as was viable for it to survive, rather than trying to gestate it for the full length of a normal pregnancy.

Also, that’s not how a DNR works. But even if it was, I can’t find a single credible source claiming that she had one. Can you provide a source for that?

The whole point of insurance is to charge premiums based on what they think you’ll cost. It makes sense young males pay more for car insurance. Only men get discriminated against by this though because women don’t get charged more for health insurance despite costing them more
