I am on the tail end of a weight loss journey. I’m down 55 lbs in less than a year. And bc of this I can’t date a fat woman. I can never go back to my old self and me dating a fat woman would be like a recovering alcoholic dating a current alcoholic. And yes I can confirm I was addicted to food, it it an addiction so excluding the dozens of other reasons this is why I could never

I dont. 1. For obvious health reasons (cardiovascular issues, diabetes, other metabolic issues) 2. I dont want my kids to be fat so a large part of that is ensuring my partner and i are on the same page about exercise and nutrition seeing as we are charged with ensuring our kids health and welfare. 3. It looks bad.

okay but the problem is men’s view of what “healthy” is different from reality. also that a curvy woman is someone with big boobs and a big butt with no stomach or thighs and that is no realistic which is toxic

No, not at all. But that’s one of the few things that people aren’t attracted to that you can change with enough effort. You might truly be surprised on how attractive you are with a fit body!

as someone who is 45lbs down on a weight loss journey i get that but also a woman who may have a little more meat on her bones does not mean unhealthy habits or someone that is gonna put you back there, just food for thought

Like 10 to 20 lbs overweight at the most. Like this photo of Selena Gomez is the perfect example. Not rail thin but not a Twinky demolisher

Yeah I know this is irony, but this might feed into the anorexia of anyone who is anorexic and sees this. The girl in the image you posted is sickly thin, unhealthy looking so. Please be aware of how your posts may be perceived by others on the internet in ways you didn’t intend.

I mean.. come on. You have to be 18 years old at least to sign up for this app. If you’re 18 and being influenced by social media, that’s just sad and pathetic imo.

Anorexia and mental health more generally aren’t just limited to people under 18, tf! People of any age can have mental health challenges and be affected by social media.

Dude, when your mental health is already spiraling, it has a way of taking anything and making it worse

Don’t worry, I know all about that. I also learned not to care what people on social media have to say, like a regular, well-adjusted human being.

Not really. It’s just childish to have a full on mental health breakdown over something you see online.

When your mental health is already fucked, you’re not exactly thinking logically. If you can’t put yourself in those shoes because you can’t relate count yourself lucky.
