Either it’s a very poorly delivered compliment or they’re dumb or they just straight up don’t think ur trustworthy Most other times when someone says something “unbelievable” a persons response is something like “really??” or prodding for more information Men (including me) are just very strange about virginity mentally so some people respond like this

Men are socially conditioned to desire losing their virginity as quickly as possible or just happen to anyway because of men’s sex drive A lot of men just go ape brain and struggle to imagine being in the shoes of someone where that is not the case

You can also see this effect in how some men respond to other men who say they are virgins by choice, whether or not it’s true the assumption is almost always that they are lying about some part of being a virgin or it being a choice

A lot of men have imbedded very deeply that being a virgin makes you less of a man so the concept in general is something a lot of people are way more sensitive about
