It does to me. If it's a high body count it means she either did a bunch of hookups, a bunch of short relationships, or a mixture. I avoid hookups because my wife one day will appreciate it and I want a woman who has a similar long-term mindset. If she was in a ton of relationships, you gotta wonder why she couldn't hold them for long and what the common factor is. In short, a woman with high body count either doesn't share my values, isn't good in a relationship, or has exceedingly bad luck.

I don’t have sex casually and save it until months into a relationship, if a girl has a high body count it’s pretty safe to say she doesn’t share those values with me and I don’t want to date someone who doesn’t value sex in the same way I do

Yes, ofc STD risk but it is a super easy way of gauging the morals/habits/mindset of someone you are potentially trying to date. I also can't imagine marrying someone with a large amount of partners, I would need a ton more reassurance tbh.
