Either your friends have some mental health things that their boyfriends know about but you don’t, or they’re just insane because that is in no way shape or form normal behavior

A) you shouldn’t be friends with these people, they seem awful, B) being lonely sucks ass, and some guys can’t see themselves finding anything that isn’t so unhealthy

What’s crazy is that’s exactly what one of my friends did. It’s part of why I stopped being friends with her and she threatened to hurt herself if he left her

Those guys might have really low self esteem or be too attached to realize how harmful that kind of thing can be. A lot of guys really struggle with finding a partner so if they aren’t that confident in themselves they might put up with or let harmful behavior slide

That makes sense. I was beginning to think guys liked that kind of behavior since their bfs kept staying with them after those crazy fights but 😭😭😭
