Social media has encouraged everyone to turn themselves into false idols so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Anything can be deepfaked now so an app dedicated to bearing false witness against people is doomed to implode.

As a girl I don’t even care about the tea app and if some girl tried to “warn” me about a guy I would consider how he treats his friends, other girls, and his family and make my judgments based on that

My coworker at my internship last summer kept bringing it up to me. She said two guys she'd dated had posts about them which made me think it might have a larger user base than I thought.
