Well I’m not super conservative personally but I would say I lean more right than left. In my personal experience more men are conservative and more women are liberal it might just be a game of numbers here honestly

My close friends parents have an extremely healthy happy marriage with 3 well adjusted and successful kids despite the parents being polar opposites when it comes to politics. The dad (right wing, libertarian-ish) has absolutely no problem with his wife’s politics. He actually likes that she sticks up for herself and what she believes in, even if its not what he believes. But when it comes to the important stuff, family and being a good person, they are completely in alignment.

Besides, the same traits that make women terrible at politics typically make them good at motherhood. The problem is when they start to view every disadvantaged or marginalized person as poor, needy children instead of adults with autonomy.

I wouldn’t say it’s that they’re fetishizing their political views, it’s more so that they’re bragging about getting laid.. I guess? Idk the logic but there are a concerning amount of posts in that realm that I’ve seen on this app And yes I read the comment thread, I was still giving my input since it’s still an act of pursuit (as stated in the post)
