Totally get that. I had a guy friend that liked me for four years and he told me last year. But he took his time and I had already made him a friend. Now he subtly flirts and it’s just weird. I guess it is just the point of when and how you express your feelings

Yea I just don’t know when there is correct signals or like when it’s appropriate/not creepy cause I seem to have only done it wrong in the past lol. Idk it’s just hard and frustrating wanting a deep connection and stuff and not being able to do casual

Then that’s where you need a female friend. Show them what you’ve been doing and they can help you change that. If anyone knows better it’s a woman

When you find someone who you really do want to be in a relationship with, it will come easier to you to do more romantic things, because you want to. By the sounds of it you just don’t have a current relationship you want to take to the next level. Old fashioned things are the best imo. Opening car doors, carrying bags etc. that’s the stuff that will keep her thinking ab you!

It’s not all that different from a friendship in hindsight. Casual hangouts are more common, with occasional dates thrown in. The biggest difference is the physical aspect, like cuddling holding hands etc. I talk to my boyfriend and best friend about the same things, so conversation wise there’s no differ
