ik this is ask men but as a black woman i would 100% end things. if he’s okay with being friends with them he doesn’t actually think it’s wrong

I don’t want to blame him for something his friends did but it’s just kinda unsettling bc are u just not saying anything bc im around? im just really conflicted bc he did tell them “fucking stop dude I mean it” and other things but it’s just like a hard spot to be in

People can and do grow and change, but have you considered that before he was dating you he might haven’t been doing all of that with him? He may not have, but I’d be worried about if he only doesn’t cause you’re his gf now (though it’s still a possibility he hasn’t or that he knows better now)

What area do you live in, like when I lived in ny it was very very very rare to find a white guy that would say it, but like in the south it’s more common than not and I think I have like three friends in the south I haven’t heard say it at least once

He might feel powerless about his friends. Look; it’s more about them disrespecting their friends and his gf. Not the racism. Even true racists wouldn’t act like that around their friend and his gf. Don’t break up with him just try to get him away from his “friends”!

I mean if that’s deal breaker for you dump him, but like I’d genuinely have like almost no friends back home if I really enforced that as much as I’d like to. Also I live in very Hispanic area, so most my friends are Hispanics that say it, which is different, still not really allowed, but the culture around that is definitely different
