Yeah. The date you want died alongside many other social norms i held dear and the getting to know you part that should happen over dinner happens over text and during a stalky instagram background check. If you want to know why that happened you’d have to ask women because it happened when women gained more power and sexual liberation. I’m not a prude but i think it died when we stopped saying making love and started saying fucking

I agree, you sound like a Gen Xer though my experience with Gen Z women is that asking them on a date before an absurd “talking stage” whatever the fuck that means to them and if you ask them on a date before that’s over (about three weeks) it makes them uncomfortable and especially if I drove them they’d feel pressured in various ways and safety something something Epstein and trump eroded public trust we’re a low trust society now
