as someone whos homeless rn ive been applying to jobs for over the past month (yes i applied to mcdonalds & all the fast food places but literally NONE of them got back to me...i have my bachelors degree & im currently working on my masters😀) now i might FINALLY have a job lined up & thats after over a month. its not the best pay & its def not anything permanent idek if ill be able to support myself w it but its smth. at the same time i have my school loans to worry abt

im staying at a homeless shelter until im able to get the money to go elsewhere. they provide some food like they have a truck that brings food i think once a week & they hand some out. its not the best & its not really enough but its all i got for rn

i have my bachelors in psych & im going for my masters in clinical mental health counseling (basically i wanna be a therapist) what sucks tho is since i dont have my masters yet theres hardly any jobs i can do w just a bachelors & the ones i *could* do & have had interviews w dont accept me bc the position requires that u have a car which ofc i dont😃

As someone who regretfully doing a psychology degree, it’s definitely one of the most work you can do for the absolute least lucrative job prospects out there. Like insane. 4 years at a prestigious university just do you can … work at the counseling clinic if your lucky? Most people doing psych are premed or going into an advanced program. A bachelors in psych itself is basically just shit
