Yes and no. I love love love punk music and dress the part and go to shows and whatnot. My gf dresses very typically and does not appear alternative at all but her and i can have entire conversations in song lyrics. We have a special move in the pit. I love her sm but the music part is rlly important to me. If i couldnt make a woman a mixtape with music we both liked then i cant hang 💔

ok ok I see, I would love to say I’m coincidentally super knowledgeable on punk music and the like but honestly I only have a few playlists with music that falls under the punk umbrella and am not super informed on the subculture, thanks for the feedback though super nice of you!!

Yeah ofc! See that sounds like a great common ground and then yalls music tastes will eventually merge. Plus the punk umbrella is fucking huge. Im listening to a tape my gf bought me today and its not punky sounding but its got a guy from a band from a scene near my hometown which is known for punk. And it rocks
