Honestly never seen this type of shit off the internet. In a healthy relationship, both people just do what they can. I hate cleaning, but love cooking. My partner hates cooking, but loves cleaning- neither of us really does more than the other

Not 100% true but I’ve found many of the hypnotic catchphrases marketed to women did cause many of my exes to discount the work I was doing outside our “house”. I recently said to my sister (she’s married to a marine and was like “he rarely ever does the dishes because he’s tired” -paraphrased) “If you want an even split of the physical labor you’re going to have to sleep in a tent a couple days a week” (he’s off on a training exercise sleeping in a tent in the woods most of the week)

from what i've seen. this really only refers to stay at home moms. when it comes down to it- in a modern household- both partners are working full time jobs. so when it comes to chores and stuff both partners have to pitch in equally. in my experience tho, i've had to teach men how to properly pick up after themselves and at that point it's like- wtf dude?

I guess but it’s usually cause the woman doesn’t do a proportional amount of chores
