No, it isn’t weird. Idk why you’d specifically consider dating off limits though. If you’d eventually both want to date each other, then date each other, don’t let the age gap get in the way of that. It’s not even that large of an age gap anyway.

I didn’t say it wasn’t common, but I would say more college students graduate at 22 than 21. Usually students are 21 going into their senior year of college. And there are plenty of non-traditional college students who are even older than that.
