You’re not gonna find a group consensus agreement on this one OP, it was chosen to be the center of controversy for a reason. I’m not precisely sure what that reason is, but stuff like this is meant to spark a national level social tussle. The news algo’s have their pick of any number of cases to plaster and track, but I believe our government and corporations pick them to draw focus group data.
