The real answer is that people are accustomed to negativity. You are going against their subconscious worldview, so they only know how to respond by attacking.

Could depend how you talk about it. For myself im a Christian and i am open about it however when discussing it with other people who may not agree i make sure that im not arguing with them but just explaining my view and then listening to them

I remember making a post saying that you shouldn’t be rude to someone anonymously and someone replied telling me to shut up another example is how I asked someone if I was in the way of their pictures because I waited for them to be done so I can head back home and one of them said yes but it could also be the environment I’m in as well
