I’m assuming you are talking about being in a relationship and venting to someone who is not your boyfriend. I personally wouldn’t want my girl to do that because it could give him the idea that she wants more and he would want to make a move. While the saying is a little distasteful “a shoulder to cry on is a dick to ride on” can be very true.
