This is prob a dumb question, if a girl told you at the beginning of dating/talking that she’d need to go slow in a relationship due to some prior negative experiences, would you still want to date her?

That stuff shouldn’t matter if you rlly like a person. Me and my now bf went on multiple dates and I felt like it was going too fast, and he suggested just texting until I was ready to go out again. Everything was on my terms cause it needed to be. If he’s the right guy and someone worth perusing, they’ll wait.

I wouldn’t want to bc it’s generally a sign that she has some self work she should do and probably isn’t completely ready for a relationship. If she’s been working on herself for like a year and it’s just been awhile that’s a different story but I think that’s the minority of ppl like this

The going slow thing is something i prefer, the negative experiences is what i would be concerned of. Depending on what that "negative experience" is, i might hold back from a relationship indefinitely.
