if i'm paying that much money for something it better come ready to use, hence why i think its a scam. they've just conditioned u to think its worth the money when its really not

I mean that’s fair but the whole point of a lego is to build it. If I wanted to buy something already built I’d go buy a model of the ship. But the whole reason I buy a Lego is to build it because I enjoy doing so.

I mean part of the point is that you build it, it’s a toy you’re supposed to build. It’s just an overpriced toy for a bunch of plastic.

i understand that you enjoy it but doesn't make it any less of a scam i fear. I just don't think something like that should be a high price tag, especially once its built then you don't get much use out of it. at least with like expensive watches or clothes you'll be using that for years.

Scam implies that Lego is promising its customers something more than it delivers, or otherwisw falsely advertising their product. You didn’t prove Lego is a scam, you’re just saying you don’t find the experience it offers worthwhile

There’s not really a scam about it, like #1 says they’re delivering you exactly what you’re buying. Sure you don’t get “much use” but at that point you could say that about literally anything that sits there as decor like paintings or pictures. Everything provides value in a different way.
