How do I make myself more approachable at the bars? I’m not conventionally pretty (bigger midsize nd curly hair) all my friends are skinny nd I don’t want to be the only girl in my group not getting approached

I don’t wanna be rude but women telling you that you look great doesn’t necessarily mean guys think the same. My advice is just keep improving and control what you can control

The best thing to do is just lose weight. It’s tough, but the return you’ll get is just too great. I lost 15 pounds this summer and I feel so much more confident and people have been saying I look great. Don’t get compliments much so it’s been that much more refreshing.

I can tell you that people are definitely noticing. People that see you are. Just keep going. How much more are you planning to lose?

If you go to 105 pounds, unless you’re 4 feet tall, you’re going to feel like absolute shit and gain back at least 20 pounds, WHICH IS HEALTHY. Also, there are absolutely guys out there who are into bigger women. I’m one of them.

If weight loss gives you more confidence and improves your mental health, absolutely go for it. But like all things, you should be consulting actual medical professionals who work in nutrition and with women regularly and doing calorie deficits in moderation.
