At max speed the snail will take at least 33 hours to reach me. I can get a jar, a box, and a shipping label in that time. I can catch it and ship it to china, never to see it again. Or if I don’t want ti risk it, use the money to retire safely in Europe.

Presuming the snail is move through the ocean through some magic property we give it, you would have to worry about it reaching you in a few thousand days if you moved to Europe.

The prompt said indescribable, not that it couldn’t be stopped. If the snail tried to cross an ocean it would reach where the water pressure exceeds its ability to move and it would get stuck.
