I feel like if you support AI use in art, then you yourself are not creative. Do you agree?

If you don’t care enough to learn to draw then you probably don’t actually want to be creative

the idea created can be creative but the "medium" of the art is far from creative

My opinion is niche, in that if you are wanting to commission an artist but are having a hard time articulating what you want, using AI to draw you examples could be helpful.

Depends how it’s used imo. AI, like many things, is a tool, and there are ways to use it for creative purposes without stealing from others. When the camera was first invented a lot of people argued that camera photos couldn’t be art, but now we see people use cameras all the time to create art

Cause its kind of a waste of time to make something for a random conversation.

well if you're commissioning an artist and paying them to draw something and what they give you wasn't what you wanted then you work with the artist to achieve it. or find other references

how would you suggest AI be used as a tool creatively that doesn't strip away the creative process?

i mean you could find actual car photos, or turn it into a whole fun activity to draw it out, i just don’t see how it’s worth it with the negative environmental impact of ai and the fact that it steals actual artists creations to create image?? it takes all the fun out of the creative process

Using Google is cheating. Real academics easily find sources at the library
