Unnecessarily? Almost never. They’re mean but it’s usually only in response to fetishposting, political ragebaiting, or venting your frustrations at them. Even that last one, valid as some of the grievances can be, if they let us use that group as rage-room it would instantly become a misogynistic cesspit where nobody learns anything or has any fun. And they’ve got no reason to participate in that; you want a Men Anonymous meeting, join Fight Club lol.

From my experience in ask women like two years ago. They are usually on the meaner end. If you have genuine question, write in a way that it reads like it was written by a women. They are rude to men in general. If you get downvoted, avoid keeping the interaction going. They tend to be a hive mind. I’m not saying they hate all men, but it feels like it sometimes.
