bring senate term lengths down from 6 years to 2 so it matches the house and max ar 10 years. it will address the politicians argument that it takes time to learn the job and its the same max limit as the president

I don’t think setting term limits would help things. Being able to be reelected, rather than being lame ducks, holds congress people accountable to their constituents. I think the issue is more so the beliefs of the constituents of certain districts. Also gerrymandering, and the fact that people who live in rural areas have disproportionate representation in congress compared with people who live in urban areas.
