I like going bowling or rock climbing on first dates. Activities in general are a good idea since they can help a conversation develop easier

Go do something. Getting food is a safe options but going to a fair/hiking/arcade/ any sorta real activity is best. Having a task to do normally removes the awkwardness that kay br in the air. Personally would suggest a breakout room

Saw somebody say picnic earlier, cheap and easy, give sufficient time to yap and get to know each other in that date context, very open to activities after to keep date going like kicking soccer ball, open to physical touch being initiated and brought to another level, it can also be cut early too with bugs as an excuse if you aren’t vibing and don’t wanna be awk abt it, also can be more public or private depending what you want.
