why do some guys cheat? i’ve unknowingly been the other woman as drunk one night stand. i know two of my friends in serious relationships break up with the guy because he’s been cheating. If you have cheated before, why did you do it?

Asked my friend who cheated before and he just said idk. He allegedly has like 50 bodies so i think he was just horny and not thinking

I mean, most men who don’t cheat try to surround themselves with men who at least understand cheating is wrong

My personal experience is that I’ve only ever cheated once, most guys I know that cheat consistently are just greedy and even if they already have a girl they want more and don’t have respect for their significant other, mine was because I wanted to know how cheating felt since I’d never experienced it. I’m not with her anymore btw so that’s not really a thing anymore

cheating is a multi layered thing. people do it for many different reasons but i’d say the most common reason men cheat in through dissatisfaction in their relationship. most guys would rather sit through the pain of a relationship rather than end it so in order to cope, they look outward and seek other sexual or whatever interests they are lacking in other women. I have cheated personally and i regret it. my reasons were mostly due to me not trusting my partner due to things she’s done so i

Why does anyone cheat? The reasons might vary a little from gender to gender but I feel like ultimately it comes down to morals and maturity

I don’t cheat because I’ve never been in a relationship and that’s not uncommon for a lot of guys these days

Can you explain more why you wanted to know what cheating felt like

Well at the time I did it I really wanted to try things I hadn’t done before and I know cheating is a thing that could affect you heavily and I was something of an experience junkie at the time if that makes sense, I still loved my girlfriend the whole time, it was like trying a new food or going to a place you’ve never been. There was no feelings involved and it wasn’t a great experience so I never did it again

Well I wasn’t exactly in an incredible mental state at the time, so I would say it was slightly insane to do. I was just answering the question they asked me

How did you feel about the potential impact on your gf?

Well as I stated I was a little off the rails at the time and I would’ve rathered she just didn’t find out but if she did I would get to see how a betrayal like that would affect someone which would’ve been a new experience I wanted to have and I would’ve then cut my losses. Again this is not how I am now, I was really not well at the time

Yeah honestly I cared more about her than I had about anyone I had before, but as long as she never found out it would only ever be my problem and honestly guilt isn’t a problem I have often

felt the need to i guess even the playing field by cheating. Looking back i wish i had more courage to just end things as i felt that i had betrayed myself as cheating is something i am so against and it really has changed me.
