My friend told me that I need to play hard to get to form a relationship with the man that I want. However, I’m scared that if he’s not hooking up with me, he’ll be hooking up with another girl who doesn’t want commitment. Can a guy confirm or debunk this

Don’t strategically decide when to have sex. Instead, have sex whenever you both genuinely want to. If he likes you and it’s meant to be, he’ll stick around and form a relationship no matter how early on you hook up. If he hooks up with someone else before you are wanting or ready to, then you simply weren’t compatible.

Like don’t not hook up with him when you want to in order to “play hard to get”, but also don’t feel pressured to hook up with him when you don’t want to out of fear of losing him to someone else. Basically, just do whatever feels natural to you in the moment.
