Im in one. Its hard sometimes othertimes you know why you have to do it and it becomes worthwhile

Tried it once. Bitch cheated on me with everyone she could until she found one with more money. And she dumped me when my life was falling apart! I’m never doing long distance again!

wouldn’t participant in them myself unless i was in a long term relationship for over half a year before one of us moved away and they were less than a 4 hour flight away with a plan to eventually live near each other after a year or two. Any more than that and it’s a “when I’m done with x and can relocate if we are still single let’s talk about picking this back up”

I absolutely wish I could make them work so I could be with this girl I’ve had a mutual crush on for a whole year (it pains me that she is so far now), however to really make them work I’d need to be in a secure relationship prior to moving to a LDR and have plans to reunite someday and be close together again
