Anyone else get bothered/annoyed by peoples obsession with “traveling”? It feels to me like almost every chick treats having a 1 week vacation overseas as the ultimate pinnacle of life’s joys…

no traveling is literally the ultimate pinnacle of life's joys. u get to see, learn, and do so much. and u get to get out ur bubble and not get stuck one way of thinking or being. it doesn't even have to be overseas, you could travel to a new neighborhood in ur city and learn or even eat something new. best little human activity is traveling tbh

I think the reason why they want to travel is important. If it is to experience other cultures and stuff I agree I’m like that. If it’s to just live a brief life of luxury I just am not a fan of

Maybe certain places but not as a whole. What does suck is getting everything ready to go and then everything to come bqck

I don’t think that you understand what “overhyped” means. I enjoy a lot of things, but you don’t see me constantly glorifying them

Especially when they’re vocal about being “well-traveled” like they’ve acquired some kind of natural wisdom from their franchise hotel room
