eh its probably fine. sometimes i wouldnt tell my ex when people talked shit about him because his self-esteem was already abysmal and he didn’t need something stupid to bother him, but if it was someone close to him/us i’d let him know. handle things however works best for you and however he prefers and that’s really all you can do
