Fellow girl here. You need to find or be in environments that have single men who either have accomplished everything you have, or have accomplished more. Like in terms of your values and how you have your life together. Because a guy will run logistics on weather you two will be a good fit, and if he can’t mog you, if he can’t lead you and feel secure in his abilities to do so, he’ll cut it short. A lot of times for a guy to enter a relationship, he has to feel like “I got this.”
i don’t know what you mean by “give them a reason to stay”, especially since i’m the one leaving. i don’t entertain these guys. i definitely don’t have sex with guys i’m not exclusive with. i don’t get past even just a few days of texting them before i realized they’ll never actually ask me a question about myself or plan a date. i really just block and move on but it always turns out the same way
I see, you’re picking guys that don’t have experience with girls, so I don’t blame you for gtfo of there. It’s going to be a numbers game for you since you wait for exclusivity. When you do come across guys worth staying, then you really show them a reason to stay too ,ie providing more than what any other girl does.
it’s more like every once in a while i give a guy who expresses interest in me a chance, then it turns out he only cares about the way i look and can’t wait to get in bed with me. i’ve tried approaching guys first but they always seem to think im dtf too. idk how to find the ones that aren’t so superficial and are more relationship oriented.
Look youre not wrong for cutting off the desperate ones, but you need to understand all men ultimately will want that, even the guys who never bring it up, he knows what he’s doing. More than likely, a lot of the guys youre giving a chance to or approach genuinely are interested, but it comes with the other side of the coin. It depends on the guy and his charisma to not display desperation and unfortunately, most guys aren’t waiting for exclusivity, not in today’s climate
