i’ve been talking to this guy for a while and he wants me to sleep over. problem is….i have obstructive sleep apnea. is this a dealbreaker for guys? will he think im weird or gross if i tell him? i’m so scared of sleeping over and embarrassing myself
I would never ever find this a dealbreaker and personally, I'd be surprised if anyone did. I think it'd be wrong to judge someone for dealing with obstructive sleep apnea

It will be much better if you tell him beforehand than if you surprise him with it

Weird or gross no but if you need a CPAP or BIPAP maybe something to warn him about beforehand. A lot of people snore at night so that’s not too strange

A good guy would overlook that, he just wants to be with you. Yall don’t even have to sleep in the same bed, just tell him, don’t be insecure about it

Dealbreaker long term tbh. Had a partner that snored loudly every night and I couldn’t sleep. She was cool af but yea it was a dealbreaker for me for anything long term tbh

It means the soft tissue at the back of your tongue and throat tends to block your airway in your sleep. Have you ever heard some who was loudly, violently snoring, like they were choking in their sleep? It’s that.

thankfully i do have an apap machine so snoring is minimum when im at my place, but he likes inviting me to his place and it feels weird to bring the whole setup just to sleep over lol
