Being so fr, three month talking stage is way too long. If somebody is really interested in you, you’ll usually start going on proper dates within a few weeks and would probably be exclusive by then. Not saying what he did was right, but there were signs

“3 month rule” i think is about the time where people’s true colors come out most the time and why it’s so “relevant” today. in the end social media fear mongers relationships in this day and age.

That’s usually about the time the ‘novelty’ of dating someone new wears off, and keeping a girlfriend starts really requiring effort to work. It’s what separates the flings from the relationships. Based on the timing, I’m guessing your summer fling just ended now that he has to go back to school.
