I would casually ask him to walk into a jewelry store in a mall or something. And point out what you like and what you don’t. Like “I prefer silver to gold because of my skin tone; www that gem is ginormous. I would much rather have something small”

As #1 said, my gf just started talking about jewelry. If you want to be really nonchalant bring up something you really don’t like or care for, my gf brought up how she doesn’t like how people demand real diamonds if they can’t even tell the difference and then how she’d honestly prefer other stones and etc etc.

Lmao if he’s not already on the same wavelength there is NO way to talk about that without him feeling the pressure. Your best bet is to wait until he starts talking about future plans and marriage and stuff on his own initiative. If he doesn’t plan on marrying you, he may literally dump you if you start picking out a ring (I’m afraid I’ve literally had to do that myself; wasn’t pretty but it was necessary). So proceed with caution yknow. First things first are u confident he wants to marry you?
