Self sabotage probably because he thinks the relationship isn’t going to turn out good or he is scared to open up and be weak around women. From personal experience I don’t like showing weakness or affection around women because I opened up once to one and she emotionally wrecked me

Personally It’s cause I don’t think her feelings reciprocate and that me being close and having those feelings will make her uncomfortable or grossed out by me, so a back off.

Yeah. He told me he doesn’t talk to his mom and he’s hesitant about relationships bc of his ex but I think I’ve shown I’m not like that at all

It may take extra convincing especially if he’s had a lot of bad experiences with women. Just let him do things at his pace and maybe open up to him. If you’re vulnerable he may be willing to be more vulnerable as well

Ya, I don’t want to dislike me by making it awkward to be around each by admitting me feelings. I also didn’t really like the way my body was reacting either the one time I was put on the spotlight for admitting I like someone either.
