How many men do you think still follow some traditional values? Stuff like wanting to be a husband then a father, wanting to pay, wanting to be a provider, etc? Media has kinda led me to believe that most guys are more modernized

I believe many men would love to uphold their end of a traditional family, but the qualifying candidates are scarce. Men today appear modernized as an adaptation strategy to the current dating scene. Women ultimately are the gatekeepers to that life

More want this than you might imagine, but you have to be realistic and understand that in todays world, many men who wish to be sole providers simply do not have the proper means to do so. Since we culturally shifted to having women work, companies no longer need to pay workers as much as they are no longer paying based on the assumption that the wage is to support an entire family but rather an individual.

I’d be fine being a provider but I ain’t taking in no lazy bum that doesn’t do their part. I’d also be perfectly happy to be a house husband and do all the cooking, cleaning, and yard work if my wife wants to be the bread winner

No I think theirs layers to those Traditional figures for Today. I would go as far laying out my “Top 3” Stephen Crowder, Andrew Tate and Stirling Cooper.

Andrew Tate is a narcissistic con artist who steals from his own fanbase and objectifies and pimps out women. That’s not traditional, that’s just scum bag.

Ok that’s understandable but the vast majority of college / university people act liberal because it’s the majority viewpoint especially in California. But if you were hanging out with aircraft mechanics in rural Indiana you would notice a drastic difference.

College demographics is heavily liberal in general and I’m from an 80% liberal town but I don’t identify as liberal or conservative and I have more traditional values so I can kinda just see the differences from the inside and I also have a lot of conservative friends who live in rural Midwest

Oof, that might hurt your chances, hopefully the liberalness makes the other women there (your competition) avoid the more traditional men for your sake

As it turns out, effectively doubling the workforce and flooding the supply of labor tanks the cost of labor for employers.

It’s either one of two things here, and of course a generalization so not might apply to you: the guy isn’t in a position in life to actually follow through and he knows this so he circles around the situation. Or he already deemed you not fit for the role even though you may think you do and you’ll never know his thoughts about it bc guys will reject you in silence
