so i’ve liked a guy… for close to 3 years. we have know eachother since birth (literally born 2 days apart, same hospital) at what point is it appropriate for me to tell him i have feelings for him? he is EXTREMELY oblivious

Tell him immediately! Tell him before he gets with someone else and you’re left to wonder what might have been. That’s a rocky path to go down.

Be upfront about it but you also need to be ok with him potentially not having feelings for you and what that may lead to whether it’s no more friendship or you having to eventually potentially see him with someone else

the biggest thing holding me back is the fact that i’m close w his sisters and family, obviously they’re family friends, so i am so so so scared that if things don’t go well i lose not only him as a friend but potentially his siblings too :(

Maybe you should tell him anyway. Sometimes it’s best to say it then and there, rather than watch him move on with someone else. Tell me, how would that make you feel? I understand your concerns, however. You’re afraid of accidentally ending something good. In the meantime, try confiding in a loved one. Maybe they will have a good answer to your dilemma.
