Literally last week I did that (im a guy) just went to the bars with the only goal being to have my first kiss no matter how awkward it was and some girl offered. It was awkward and I wasn’t great but now i feel like it’s not a giant hurdle yk

And if that continues to be the mentality perpetually, it might end up causing more worry or harm than it’s worth. Not saying it should feel forced or rushed, but no sense in trying to put it off till it’s perfect. There’s a chance it just might never happen then
