I dont think the act of drag is transmisogynistic but often portrayal of drag in media can be when the line between drag/crossdressing and transness is blurred

It can sometimes be used to fetishize femininity and body parts like boobs (personally I dislike it when people put on silicon boobs to do hypersexual dances and things when doing drag, just because body parts aren’t fashion and big boobs don’t make you more feminine) but it’s not fetishizing trans women or being trans 😭 it’s just art expression

Now if the silicon boobs or fake boobs are related to the performance (like they are specifically mimicking a person like Dolly Parton) or if it’s about motherhood or showing women’s nipples or anything, like cool go for it. The boobs are part of the statement. But when it’s added just for sexual performance it rubs me the wrong way bc I can’t just remove my boobs and stop being so sexualized if that makes sense 😭
