Am i the only person who finds it weird that yall use people’s murder’s for entertainment? (True crime). I was watching a podcast and this girl was getting excited talking about the gory details like it was some fantasy. That was a daughter

I think it depends how they talk about it, learning about horrific things humans are capable of in general is needed to an extent

No I can’t watch true crime makes me too sad and it feels insensitive. I LOVE detective shows and like fiction murder tho. Wayyy better way to engage with the genre imo

I don’t find entertainment in jt, I watch it to keep me aware. It’s what’s happened in the world and it could happen to anyone I know. There’s been studies done on it and most people do it for that reason. Theres a 20% male and 17% female population that have a sexual relationship with it :/

I kind of see it the same way that I see horror. I enjoy horror and some people enjoy true crime.

Oh I completely agree. I think you can read and listen to podcasts without becoming obsessed and talk about how attractive the murderers are.
