You could explain it to him, ask him to point out specific things that you do that make him uncomfortable. But over all reassurance works great. Coming from someone with a flirty personality

Wear a shirt that says “Don’t hear what I didn’t say”. Make it clear that you don’t flirt without verbalizing intent to flirt. If people misunderstand you after you make it very clear that you have no interest in flirting or romance, that’s on them.
