I contacted the police about someone who threatened to me, and they not only took it seriously but also followed up. I didn’t take it far at all, but it was a 10/10 start.

I have someone else I could probably get a restraining order against (for violent threats), but restraining orders are not adequate protection. People fleeing abuse (not my situation) are more likely to be murdered while they have a restraining order against their abuser. Instead of a restraining order, I got a weapon.

Yeah they throw violent tantrums. They been trying to get our mutual contact (who is totally worth all this) to drop me. Finally realized they’re stuck with me and should probably stop threatening me. Too fuckin late lol. I blocked them and informed our mutual contact that attempts to approach me would result in police calls and reports of crimes they’ve committed. Their loss.
