depends on who you ask, but i think generally the following are good signs that a man is mature: compassionate behavior, good listening/communication skills, honesty and transparency, reasonable humbleness/humility, a respectful attitude, taking responsibility, owning up to shortcomings

Let’s say I do something that upsets him accidentally. Instead of allowing it to fester, he tells me what I did and why it hurt him. We have a conversation so I understand where I went wrong, rather than a screaming match.

Oh no absolutely! I see good communication as a sign of maturity overall. There’s other things but communication- good communication is being mature.
