I’d side with you on this one, I think it would’ve been valid of him to not visit if he truly needed to save the money, but the fact that he went shopping for stuff he didn’t need the next day shows that wasn’t the case

Girl he does not care about you. If he ligit did not have the money it would be one thing but he did. He just loves you less than the air fryer. You should blow him up or something

You are totally right. He went out when you were in the emergency room, had no visitors. He said he couldn’t afford it even though he spent money the same exact day. Did he even bother to call you? Message and ask if you were okay?

Yeah babe, I think you should cut this one loose, even even though they said you’re fine you were still in the emergency room. I’m not in your relationship so I don’t know the full entire story between you guys, but it seems like there’s no care shown from him and I personally don’t like that, I feel like you deserve more, especially at 19 one thing I wish I learned at 19 was to put myself first before others ( friends/ relationships ),

I already thought it was crazy when he gave money as a reason not to visit you in the hospital and my jaw dropped when he sent you a shopping haul one day later. I would have broken up with him on the spot

NO CAUSE I WANTED TO SO BAD but then EVERY SINGLE PERSON I told gave me some reason as to why I should give him another chance to redeem himself, and so I’ve been trying so hard to stick it out

Right, like he DOES need to save the money, but he doesn’t. Like he claimed to have a bunch of money saved up for something he needs and I even apologized for being upset initially and then he pulled what he did the next day and I felt embarrassed for apologizing previously

1. It was the day after, which, I know doesn’t make it any better, but still 2. He didn’t call me because he was at work, but he would message me periodically 3. He randomly decided to drop later that for a huge chunk of the time I was in the ER, his coworkers talked shit on me because he told them what was going on and they claimed I wasn’t important enough for the visit and was probably over exaggerating it

Yeah ur mom does not get it. Ultimately its fine for your mom to give you advice but she does not have to consider the rest of her life as his partner, you do, don’t stay with him if he doesn’t feel like someone you can count on

if you have a certain feeling, listen to that, feeling learn to put yourself first, even if it’s a 90 minute commute there’s still other ways to show care and if he didn’t, then there’s no reason for you guys to be together, a relationship is a partnership. It’s two people who come together
