Anyone else tired of the sentiment that women are innocent and naive, sad and damaged, or grasping, manipulative harpy’s with no variation? Tired of being treated like I come with a model number that decides who and what I am.

It can change, it’ll just be slow. Look at the progress we’ve made already

Idk why you think sexism will not exist or change to any significant extent in your lifetime that you will benefit from. Most of the sexism women complain about is social rather than systemic

Awww you’re so right, I’m STUPID STUPID STUPID!!! 😔😭😥Guess I might as well just curl up and die, because it’s all pointless and unchanging. After all nothings EVER changed before! Shouldn’t we all give up?

You as an individual have no effect on society

I do not have no effect, I have a negligible effect. But society is made of individuals. This is how voting and unions and popular movements work. The individual, virtually powerless, can affect chance in groups. More than that, we can make change in our immediate surroundings. Washington may not care if I live or die, but by talking to people around me, can’t I create change? Does a whole lifetime altered not mean anything? Your resignation is a self fulfilling prophecy, and it tires me.

Change in individuals but ultimately you will never see a life without sexism. It’s incidence won’t even increase in your lifetime. I am obviously talking about the behavior of how strangers treat you.

I never said I’d see a life without sexism. I said it would get better, probably, if we continue on our current trajectory. There have been times where progress has halted or moved backwards, but I don’t think we’re in that place societally rn, so I don’t expect it to happen. I believe wholeheartedly that working towards that progress is worth it.
