I exfoliate before hand, use shaving oil instead of cream, use a men’s razor and make sure it isn’t dull, then afterwards I use witch hazel (mine is meant for skin idk) but only in the bikini area DO NOT GET THAT ON YOUR ACTUAL COOCH! And then I have an aloe/baby oil mix from Johnson’s brand and apply that after. Then let it breathe for a bit before undies. The last two are my holy grail and I used to have such a hard time with razor bumps
do not go against the direction of hair growth, go either in the same direction or perpendicularly across it! also exfoliate before, and i put a little bit of deodorant on my bikini line (but not too close to any actual organs) before i get dressed. if possible, avoid super tight bottoms that will rub and chafe a lot immediately after shaving (i.e. tight denim shorts or jeans, underwear with thick seams) bc extra irritation doesn’t help. source: i’ve been a ballet dancer my whole life lol
if i want a very thorough exfoliation, i use a clay scrub that i got at whole foods lol the brand is Pacha, i use lavender scented! if i want a more gentle one, i use clinique 7 day scrub cream, it’s for face. i focus most of the exfoliation around my bikini line and a little inside of it, don’t put anything too close to the actual organ! i also use a men’s razor, i’ve been using them for so long i forgot to mention it lol
