So I gotta ask- if I wanna dress up as a black character for Halloween am I gonna get cancelled for it? I’m not gonna paint my skin or anything duhh but I dressed up as Garnet from Steven universe once and got a LOT of hate for it (cuz I’m white)

Idk likely not and if you do I don’t think it’s your fault. Plenty of black and Hispanic people dress up as white characters, I don’t think this should be/is any different
